SEWP Announces New Advisory GroupIn a move to further solidify its position as a premier Government Wide Acquisition Contract, and a driving force in the future of IT acquisition, The Solutions for Enterprise Wide Procurement (SEWP) Program announced the assembly of \'The SEWP Advisory Group\'. The group, comprised of leaders in the Federal Information Technology (IT) community, will provide their individual expertise and insights to the SEWP Program. The timing to assemble the Advisory Group was appropriate, according to NASA SEWP Program Manager, Joanne Woytek. Woytek explained, "To expand beyond the scope of the initial vision of building the \'most customer-focused\' GWAC, that operated in the best interest of the Federal Government, the private sector and the American taxpayers, I felt it was time to bring in a group of \'fresh eyes and ears\', to provide unbiased feedback, strategic advice and industry insight to solidify the direction of the NASA SEWP Program for the forthcoming years." The Advisory Group, consisting of five professionals in the Federal IT arena, will have its inaugural meeting later on this month, in Washington D.C. Updated: February 5, 2013

Notice Regarding Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and other Battery ProductsNOTE: If you are purchasing Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and other Battery Products ... recent reports and feedback from suppliers indicate that the delivery of some UPS products are constrained due to raw material shortages and battery supplier reductions. Industry sources anticipate that battery products that are currently experiencing delivery constraints may continue experiencing them through September and into October. This is a global problem, not just related to SEWP or Government orders in general. If you have any questions specific to your purchase please do not hesitate to contact manufacturers, resellers and/or us.
