EPEAT Televisions (TVs) Registry Status
Results webpage
Participating Manufacturers archived products due to a new Energy Star specification for TVs coming into
effect. GEC is working with manufacturers to return their TV products to the Registry.
Meeting the technical requirements of the Energy Star specifications is a Required Criterion for ‘almost all’
EPEAT product categories. When a new Energy Star technical specification comes into effect, GEC will see a
drop in the number of products. This is not unusual; GEC will work closely with EPEAT Participating
Manufacturers regarding these issues.
