SEWP VI Transition Updates

In preparation of the anticipated start date of SEWP VI, on Nov 1, 2026, the SEWP Program Office will be transitioning the website, applications, and internal processes to reflect the new contract. Beginning on Oct 1, 2026, the SEWP VI website will be available.

SEWP will be rolling out new and improved functionalities throughout the first year of the SEWP VI contracts.

Key areas that are affected include:

Scope – The scope of SEWP will include both the traditional ITC/AV (Information Technology, Communication and Audio Visual) product solutions primarily in Category A along with a full suite of ITC/AV services in Categories B and C.
NAICS Codes – NAICS codes will be defined at the order level. Any valid inscope NAICS code may be used.
Set-Asides – All three Categories will allow for any form of small business set-aside at the order level.
Contract Types – SEWP VI will allow for multiple Contract Types: Firm Fixed Price; Time and Material; Labor Hour; Fixed Price Award Fee; Fixed Price Incentive Fee; Fixed Price Economic Price Adjustment; or any hybrid of commercial contract types for orders.
SEWP Marketplace – The SEWP Marketplace will be defined as the entirety of SEWP, including all Contract Holder & Procurement information on our website, pricing information within our SEWP Online Catalog, all supporting applications as well as the customer service expertise offered.
SEWP Online Catalog – The SEWP Online Catalog will be defined as the entirety of the SEWP database of record. Customers can search the Online Catalog by part number, item keyword, or provider. They can browse the Online Catalog for market research purposes, for micro-purchases or to request quotes from the Contract Holders. This new Online Catalog will have all available CLINs and Storefronts and BPAs available to customers.
Strategic Storefronts and Blanket Purchase Agreement Storefronts – The Strategic Storefronts and BPAs will provide fast access to strategically-sourced products, services, and solutions. Agencies will be able to create Storefronts and/or BPAs and are easily accessible in the SEWP Online Catalog (post-login).
Non-manufacturer rule (NMR) – SEWP VI will operate under specific nonmanufacturer (NMR) waivers that cover most, but not all, products in Category A. Information as to which product categories are not covered by the NMR waiver will be provided on the SEWP VI website.
Number of Contract Holders – It is anticipated that the number of Contract Holders will increase significantly in SEWP VI. The SEWP Program Office is developing tools and increasing staffing to assist customers in navigating the depth and breadth of Contract Holders and capabilities.
Quote Request Tool (QRT) – The central SEWP Application will be revamped to account for the changes noted above and improve the overall customer experience.
SEWP Website – The SEWP website will be redesigned to improve information flow and navigation.
