Scope
SEWP is designed to provide a broad suite of Information Technology, Communication and Audio Visual (ITC / AV) solutions and services. Its flexible processes allow contract holders to add new technologies and services daily, ensuring offerings stay current. SEWP covers the full ITC/AV landscape and is organized into three main scope categories.
SEWP Categories
SEWP is composed of three (3) scope categories detailed below. If you would like SEWP to determine if your requirement is within scope of the SEWP VI contract, please send an overview and/or bill of materials (BOM) to help@sewp.nasa.gov and we will quickly review and provide feedback.
SEWP includes set-asides for the following Small Business designations:
- Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB)
- Woman-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB)
- Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Businesses (EDWOSB)
- Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) Small Businesses
- Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB)
- 8(a) Small Businesses
- Small Businesses (SB)
Category A – ITC/AV Solutions
Category A covers the full range of ITC/AV technologies, including solutions that may integrate multiple categories (e.g., AV, security, networking). Examples include video security systems, command-and-control systems, and videoconferencing. The listed examples are illustrative, not exhaustive.

Category B - Enterprise-Wide ITC/AV Service Solutions
Category B covers customized, enterprise-wide strategic solutions for Federal agencies, addressing large-scale needs across multiple departments, locations, or offices. It focuses on enhancing ICT/AV infrastructure through managed services (e.g., computer or printer support) and shared services (e.g., agency-wide help desks, IT security, and application services). Services can be delivered globally at government or contractor sites. Product-only requirements are excluded.
Category B includes enterprise-wide ITC/AV service solutions tailored to agency mission needs. The listed examples are illustrative, not exhaustive, and other qualifying services are also in scope. While some services may overlap with Category C, Category B is reserved for large-scale, agency-wide implementations.

Category C - Mission-Based ITC/AV Service Solutions
Category C covers customized, mission-level ITC/AV solutions that enhance agency infrastructure. Services include programming, telecommunications, engineering and design, data processing, hosting, IT operations, management, consulting, training, digital government, and cybersecurity. Work may be performed worldwide at government or contractor sites. Pure product-only orders are excluded.
Category C orders are capped at $2M in year one and $10M in year two, with restrictions lifted starting in year three. It covers a wide range of ITC/AV services tailored to mission-level needs, with scope examples provided but not exhaustive. While some overlap exists with Category B, Category C is specifically for mission-level implementations.
